The International Airport Montpellier Méditerranée is located just a few miles from the city center. A shuttle-bus services operates regularly between the airport and the city centre. There are also taxis available (travel time around 15 minutes).
There are some direct connections from European cities (see underneath). However, flights from overseas and smaller European cities go via the two Paris airports Charles de Gaulle or Orly. Montpellier is easy to be reached by train. The main station Montpellier Saint-Roch is located right in the centre of Montpellier. From there it is only about 5 minutes’ walk to our French language school.
Montpellier is located on one of the most impotant TGV (High speed train) lines in France, going from Paris to Madrid via Lyon, Montpellier and Barcelona. Montpellier has excellent connections to all major cities in France and Europe. Travel time between Paris (Gare de Lyon) and Montpellier is around 3 hours 15 minutes. Each day several trains also leave from the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris to Montpellier. Travel time is 3 hours and 45 minutes. This avoids you going into Paris to catch the TGV train.
